Chris Plough

Director of Development for MavenWire

Drawing on a successful career in the information technology industry, engineering highly complex software application architectures for leading companies, coordinating business start-ups and pioneering and launching popular new technologies, Chris Plough decided to harness his award-winning technical skills, creative talent and effective leadership style to form, MavenWire with Samuel Levin in early 2006.

Chris had served as Senior Software Engineer for the Oracle Corporation. Joining Oracle relative to the company’s acquisition of his former employer, G-Log, one of Chris’s primary functions was the highly complex transitioning and merging of G-Log’s Transportation Management Application, GC3, with Oracle’s existing company architecture, specifications and standards. In his previous role at G-Log (Global Logistics Technologies, since acquired by Oracle) Inc., a software company he helped launch and coordinate from the ground up, Chris engineered and developed the company’s principal product, a complex transportation management web application called GC3 (now OTM / GTM).
